SIP SAT Office Reaps Record-high 30-Billion-Yuan Tax Revenue in 2014

Suzhou Industrial Park Office of State Administration of Taxation (SAT) managed to get 30.497 billion yuan out of the taxpayers this year by December 15, increasing by 13.79% over the previous year. The office hit the 10 and 20-billion-yuan line in 2007 and 2011 respectively and then 30-billion-yuan line three years later, ranking the sixth among local branches under the provincial office.

In spite of declining export and slow economic growth this year, SIP office tightened the management of multinational taxpayers, strengthened its risk control measures, realized two-digit increase for the fifth consecutive year, and secured the steady growth of SIP's economy.
