A new security patrol mechanism that has been piloted in Jinji Lake CBD for more than a month was put into practice on Dec 24 in other three pilot zones in SIP. It is expected to help better safeguard local social security.
The pilot run of the mechanism at Jinji Lake CBD has shown good effects in responding to emergencies, curbing crimes and serving the public.

The new patrol mechanism combines well-equipped SWAT, traffic police and auxiliary traffic police teams to jointly patrol the local streets at designated intervals.

SIP authorities disclosed that they are striving to roll out the mechanism across the whole area by the end of the first half of next year.
