The 2018 (8th) Suzhou Teenagers' Chinese Culture Activities (SZTCCA) was held at SIP Youth & Children Center on Dec 22. Students from over 70 primary and middle schools in Suzhou participated.

Sponsored by Suzhou Education Bureau and Civilization Office, the SZTCCA is designed to enhance local youngsters' knowledge of Chinese culture and encourage them to carry forward traditional Chinese handicrafts. It has been held annually in the city for 10 years.

This year's event consisted of three contests requiring the participants to make festive lanterns and other handiworks and draw ancient countdown calendars using traditional techniques. Hundreds of works were displayed on site.
