A running themed "Toward a Beautiful Life" is scheduled to take place at Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR) on Jan 1, 2018, as a way to celebrate the New Year's Day. Many running enthusiasts in Suzhou will participate.

The participants will run along a 7-km track with beautiful lakeside sceneries and fantastic cultural and commercial facilities like Buddhist temple, shopping mall and cinema all the way through.

The event will also incorporate two praying activities, where the participants can write down New Year wishes and pray for a good fortune for both themselves and people around them.

In addition, a number of booths will be set up on site for the participants to write spring festival scrolls, send greeting cards and savor delicate snacks.
