Building-based resident self-governance sees good effects
This year, Donghu Chunyun Community's building-based resident self-governance mechanism has seen good effects.
The residents at Building 133 have launched a series of campaigns aimed at getting rid of safety pitfalls, such as removing the sundries in stairways and banning multi-bedroom house renting that usually causes disturbance to neighbors and safety problems due to the fact that too many people share a house.
Residents at Building 156 and 161 have made great contributions in solving a variety of problems, such as repairing the broken walls and facilities, managing parking of electric vehicles and removing illegal advertisements. They collect problems through mobile communication Apps and brainstorm solutions through effective consultation.
Residents at Building 155 spontaneously organize various events to help the empty-nest elderly (whose children live far from home) and the handicapped, such as presenting daily necessaries to them and chatting with them. They also carry out diverse events like flea markets, outdoor banquets and art shows to enrich their life.
