Xu Huimin, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, led a group of SIP officials to visit Kunshan, a county-level city of Suzhou Municipality, on March 13.

The SIP group visited KONE Elevators Co Ltd, AU Optronics, Duke Kunshan University and Duke Town and learned about their current conditions and next development plans.

Xu spoke highly of the economic and social development of Kunshan and the highlights of the projects they visited, which are worth being adapted by SIP. He proposed that SIP and Kunshan make the best use of their resource superiority and apply global thinking and urban planning concept to urban development plan. He hoped that SIP and Kunshan join hands and develop connectivity to scale new heights in the development of industrial cities.
