SIP held a work meeting on workplace safety at Modern Building on Feb 23 to summarize the work in 2016, arrange the main tasks for 2017 and initiate the "workplace safety supervision month" campaign.

Xu Huimin, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, made a speech at the meeting. He gave a full and positive appraisal of the achievements made in workplace safety, stressing that it should take priority over all other work. He urged that all the departments concerned must realize the importance of workplace safety and make greater efforts to maintain a stable situation in workplace safety.
