The plaque-unveiling ceremony of Suzhou Centennial College was held at Suzhou Dushu Lake Science & Education Innovation District on October 17. The college is jointly run by Suzhou University of Science and Technology and Canada-headquartered Centennial College, and funded by Global Edutech Management. It is the first Sino-foreign cooperative vocational college with the status of independent legal person.

The predecessor of Suzhou Centennial College was HKU Space Global College Suzhou. At present, Suzhou Centennial College has enrolled about 20 foreign students, and it plans to start enrollment of Chinese students next autumn through the national college entrance exam.
