Li Qiang, Secretary of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, met President Macky Sall of Senegal and his entourage on September 3 in Suzhou, and in the afternoon, the distinguished guests visited Suzhou Industrial Park Planning Exhibition Hall and Higer Bus Company Limited in SIP.

During the meeting, Li Qiang expressed appreciation over the visit of President Macky Sall to Suzhou and his effort in promoting the friendly relations between China and Senegal as the head of state of honor at the G20 Hangzhou Summit, and gave an account of the economic and social progress in Jiangsu. Macky Sall expressed appreciation over the economic and social achievements of Jiangsu Province, saying that Senegal would learn and adapt the development experience of Jiangsu, especially that of construction and operation of SIP, and that his country would carry out exchange and cooperation with Jiangsu in industry, culture, trade, and human resources, and further enhance the friendship between the two sides.
