On September 1, the Suzhou Industrial Park working conference on Party building and the work of mass organizations was held to review the work in the first six months of the year and to clarify work objectives for the remaining months of the year. The meeting was presided over by Feng Jianlin, Member of CPC SIP Working Committee and Head of Organization Department, and Huang Jiyue, Deputy Secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee and Vice-director of SIP Administrative Committee, attended the meeting and made a speech.

In the morning, two groups of the attendees were led by Huang Jiyue and Feng Jianlin, to Shengpu Sub-district Party Member Service Center, Samsung Electronics (Suzhou) Semiconductor Co., Ltd., Genway I-Park Party Member Service Center, Bayside Garden Residential Community, and Dushu Lake Sci-Tech Innovation District Party and Mass Organization Service Center on a study tour.

At the afternoon meeting, Huang Jiyue made a positive appraisal of the work results on Party building and the work with mass organizations in SIP, and confirmed that SIP had steadily pushed forward the "study and education campaign" (the study of Party Constitution and rules and CPC General Secretary Xi Jinping's speeches, and the requirement for being qualified Party members), enhanced the Party building work, implemented the obligations of trade unions, improved the adhesive strength of the Communist League organizations, and made a good beginning in the work of women's federations, thus accumulating useful experience and methodology for SIP Party building and mass organization work.

As for the work in the second half of the year, Huang Jiyue stressed that it was imperative to carry on in-depth study of the series of important speeches by General Party Secretary Xi Jinping, to strengthen the sense of historic mission in the new situation concerning the work in Party building and mass organization, to forge unified forces in serving the overall goal of economic and social progress of SIP, to persist in innovation and reform in making new breakthroughs in work, to reinforce the sense of responsibility in wholehearted service of the broad masses of people, to build a strong contingent for Party building and mass organization work, to put concrete measures in place, and to ensure full attainment of all the work objectives, so as to raise the work of Party building and mass organization to a new level.
