On the morning of July 2, Jiangsu qualification competition of the 29th "Hope Cup" National Children's Palace Go Contest was held at Suzhou Industrial Park Youth & Children Center.

200 participants were divided into three groups according to different ages. The oldest participant among them is 16 years old while the youngest is only 4. The contest was held as an integral round match so that every player played with at least 7 players in succession. The top 8 players with the most scores will enter the national final in August in Luoyang, Henan Province.
