On June 18, the 7th Suzhou Industrial Park Vocational Skills Contest was unveiled. 841 finalists from 249 SIP-based enterprises competed for the top three prizes of the ten competitive items, including biological and chemical pharmaceutical technology, Internet product design, HTML5 mobile development technology, and motion & process control technologies.

It is reported that the contestants signing for this contest have an average of 6-plus-year working background, and 91% of them have junior college degrees or above, with 28 having PhD and 352 having master degrees.

This time, over-3-million-yuan subsidies are to be awarded to winners. The first, second and third prize winners will get respective salary subsides of 2,000, 1,500 and 1,000 yuan each month for a year, and each winner of excellence award will get a lump-sum 1,000 yuan bonus.

Besides, 10,000 yuan is presented to each of the 30 enterprise winners of Excellent Organization Award in order to encourage corporate participation.
