The inaugural meeting of Suzhou Trade Association of Cutting Tools and its first general meeting were held on the afternoon of June 16.

Cutting tools industry is a basic industry for national economy, and it has been making good progress in Suzhou with the city's rapid economic development. Whereas enterprises in this industry encounter some difficulties in their expansion, they feel the urge to unite together and work out a better way out.

According to incomplete statistics, there are more than 1,000 enterprises in Suzhou engaged in production of cutting tools, and the near-100 initiators of the association can sell about 10 billion yuan worth of products annually.
