On December 18, Suzhou New Century International Children's Hospital was officially open to the public.

Located to the east of The Children's Hospital of Soochow University in Suzhou Industrial Park, it has 80 single-bedded children's wards and 10 newborn beds, and has the capacity to provide the 0-18 year-old children patients in Suzhou who have higher demands for the medical, nursing conditions and environment with the comprehensive medical and healthcare services. General and specialist pediatricians can offer the one-for-one and consistent medical and healthcare services.

It is the first children's hospital established in Suzhou in accordance with International JCI medical standards. At present, the outpatient department opens for service from 8:00 to 17:00 each day, and the emergency department is tentatively not available. The outpatient consulting fee for the internal medicine department is 300 yuan, and the specialist consulting fee for the surgical department is 400 yuan (associate chief physician) and 600 yuan (chief physician). The Hospital will also accept the payment service by high-end medical commercial insurance.
