Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee (SIPAC) held the inauguration ceremony for SIP Government Legal Service Station of Law Firms and for the appointment of SIP legal consultants on December 11 in response to the requirement of the decision of the 4th Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China "to put government legal consultant in place" and for the purpose of mobilizing the professional expertise of lawyers in ensuring SIP economic transformation and upgrading. Through open screening, 5 legal consultants were selected for SIP Administrative Committee and 20 law firms appointed to the station.

Yang Zhiping, Deputy Secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee and Director of SIPAC, pointed out during the appointment ceremony that it was imperative to strengthen the work of legal consultants in law-abiding administration and in coping with litigation cases, and that both the legal consultants and the legal service station should function as the think tank of the government in the service of the overall development situation, the building of law-abiding government, and social harmony and stability.
