SIP Leaders Pay Respect to PLA Unit in Suzhou
On the morning of July 27, shortly before the 88th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army of China, an Suzhou Industrial Park delegation led by Huang Jiyue, Deputy Secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee and Vice-director of SIP Administrative Committee visited SIP Fire Brigade, SIP Armed Police Department, and Armed Police Unit stationed at SIP Integrated Free Trade Zone, extending festival greetings to the officers and men along with best wishes and gifts.
During the visit, Huang Jiyue expressed sincere thanks to the army units in Suzhou for their significant roles in SIP development and construction, and pointed out that the growth of SIP had a direct bearing on the concern and support of the army units and their contributions to the construction in various fields. He hoped that the officers and men would continue to uphold the fine traditions of uniting and working shoulder to shoulder with the people of SIP and play a bigger part in further development of SIP. He also pledged that SIP would keep the revolutionary traditions and support the army units by creating a benign environment for the army building.
The army units expressed that over the past 20 years of development and construction, SIP had scored remarkable achievements in social and economic advancement, and they would always keep in mind the support of the Party and the people and act resolutely to support SIP in its next round of leap-forward development.
