On the evening of July 19, a concert was given in Suzhou Culture & Arts Centre (SSCAC) by National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA), conducted by Charles Dutoit with Yundi Li as pianist. The concert in Suzhou was one of the stations of the orchestra's China Tour.

Before the concert the young musicians of the orchestra played in the hall outside of the Grand Theatre as a flash mob performance full of passion for music, and many passers-by stopped to watch and take pictures.
