On July 10, the three-day 2015 Venture Week for International Elites in Suzhou (hereinafter referred to as "the Venture Week") was opened in Suzhou International Expo Center, with the aim of keeping the whole world in view to headhunt talents for specific posts and bring in intellectuals, gather innovative teams and professionals and expertise, commercialize research and development deliverables, and put funding projects into practice, for the ultimate purpose of underpinning comprehensively deepened reform.

At the main and parallel sessions of the Venture Week, 2,526 projects brought by 2,477 guests falls into several industrial categories, of which Suzhou is in urgent need, like new energy, new material, smart power grids, nanotechnology, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, modern equipment manufacturing, software and service outsourcing, financial service and cultural creativity. Apart from introducing innovative projects, this year's Venture Week also reinforces efforts to assist local enterprises to find innovative talents and technologies to improve their independent innovation ability, and achieve industrial transformation and upgrading. In addition, this year's Venture Week backs up the development of the newly settled enterprises this time by enhancing the whole process of follow-up service, including management service, communication and specific support.

The Venture Week has become a brand of activity in Suzhou to attract high-caliber professionals and bring in expertise.
