According to the requirements in the notification about making investigations on the practice of "three stricts and three honests", Wang Xiang, Standing Committee Member of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of CPC Suzhou Industrial Park Working Committee, is planning to "conduct an inspection tour to give instructions, call a discussion, visit a number of Party members, make an experience tour to learn about the livelihood of the people, renew the list of problems to be dealt with, and write a special report about the practice". For this purpose, Wang went on an investigation trip to Loufeng Sub-district.

On the morning of July 6, Wang and other Party leaders of SIP went to Meihua, Qunli, and Fengyi communities and met Party members and representatives of the residents in their homes. He had a discussion with some dozen veteran cadres and ordinary citizens and solicited comments and suggestions about nursing for the aged, medical care, employment, schooling, and community management, etc.

On July 8, Wang listened to the briefings of community representatives from Xiangwan, Jinyi, Xinsu, and Meihua on the organizational work for economic development.

Wang then visited the greenery square of the sub-district cultural and sports center and watched a digital movie together with the residents in Dushu Lake community. He learned that the community staff would give the residents at least 120 digital movie shows in a year to meet the cultural demands of the senior citizens. Wang also inquired into the establishment of electronic case histories in the community health service station, and proposed that the station cooperate with Medical College of Soochow University and serve as a base for the medical junior's internship.
