People flock to Christmas bazaar at KHS

Kempinski Hotel Suzhou (KHS) in SIP kicked off its annual Christmas bazaar on Dec 2, when over 1,000 visitors from different countries and regions enjoyed a happy day in a festive atmosphere exactly like that in Europe.

It is learnt that KHS started the tradition in 2009 to hold an event of the kind on the first weekend in December to welcome the upcoming Christmas.

The event started at 11am, with more than 70 booths offering a dazzling variety of Christmas gifts of oriental and occidental styles, such as jewelries from Turkey, trinkets from the Republic of Korea, toys from Japan and silk products from China. Additionally, KHS provided delicate snacks and desserts.

The event also incorporated a list of performances where a group of youngsters from Jinger Dance Studio and Dulwich International College shared the stage with several overseas artists.
