Spanish architect's artworks on display at Suzhou Center
The three-month "Antoni Gaudí's Magical World" architecture exhibition opened at Suzhou Center, SIP on Nov 24, offering Suzhou citizens a good chance to know more about Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926), a great Spanish architect renowned as a practitioner of Catalan Modernism and a master of mosaic art.
In the over-1,000-sqm exhibition zone are a number of scaled-down mockups of Gaudí-style buildings with facades covered by colorful mosaics as well as over 20 Gaudí's artworks that boast highly individualized and one-of-a-kind style.
Moreover, there is the Asia's biggest Christmas tree in the shape of a Gaudí work.
