The final of the 4th SIP "Bank of Nanjing Cup" Singing and Musical Instrument Playing Competition took place at Suzhou Dushu Lake Theatre, SIP on Sept 8. A total of 22 teams from different sub-districts and communities competed in the solo and chorus singing and musical instrument playing contests.

Sponsored by the Organizing Committee of SIP Culture and Sports Festival and organized by SIP Cultural Centre, the competition is held annually to enrich the residents' cultural life and give them a chance to showcase their talents. Launched on June 9, this year's event included 17 auditions, in which 2,783 people of different ages participated, quarter-finals and the final.

The final saw performances of different styles, showcasing the performers' different tastes for art and talents in music. The winners in each group received awards.
