Experts talk about AI application in SIP


The 2018 Global AI Product Application Expo (GAIPAE) kicked off in SIP on May 10, gathering global experts and scholars with extraordinary expertise in artificial intelligence (AI). Some of them gave keynote speeches at the opening ceremony.

Pan Yunhe, a computer application expert and academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, expounded on the concept of AI 2.0 that he referred to as a stage in which ubiquitous application of AI will facilitate enhanced human intelligence and extremely efficient development of human society.

Wang Yongdong, Microsoft's global senior vice president, gave an introduction to the company's research and outcomes in visual, voice and natural language recognition technologies.

Andy Ho, CEO of Philips Greater China, unveiled some of their AI research and development projects, including those designed to ensure more patient-friendly and safer clinical medical treatment.
