Municipal Leader Meets Korean Guest
Wang Jinhua, Deputy Secretary of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of SIP Party Working Committee, met Mr. B. W. Lee, Vice-president of Samsung Electronics of Korea, at Jinji Lake Hotel on the evening of Dec. 1.
Wang Jinhua expressed warm welcome for Lee,s visit and said that Samsung was one of the earliest to enter SIP with preference to the investment climate of SIP, and has invested 5 projects. The cooperation between SIP and Samsung has been satisfactory to both sides. Wang welcomed Samsung to extend investment in SIP with more projects. Lee said that Samsung is fully confident in the further cooperation with SIP.
By the end of last year, Samsung had built 14 manufacturing plants and 4 R&D centers in China, including a research and development center and manufacturing bases of household appliances and laptop computers in SIP.
