Secretary Ma Minglong of Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) CPC Working Committee recently announced that SIP would integrate rising sectors with nanotechnology so as to build SIP into a leading nanotech industrial base in China and even in the world in five to ten years.
This is a decision made on the solid foundation of current achievements. On the basis of BioBay and Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics at Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), SIP has gathered a group of technological and industrial resources in the field, built the country's top technical platforms, recruited 2,000 professionals, and mastered a series of proprietary patents.
