Starts Personal Banking Service
Suzhou Branch of Standard Chartered, located in SIP, lately announced the startup of personal banking services, offering local residents with foreign currency banking service and expatriates with RMB services, including "priority financing" and "creative financing" services.
Ye Yangming, Personal Banking Service President of Standard Chartered China Division, tell reporters that the branch is ready to offer trade and working capital loans, commercial property financing, global fluid capital management, mortgage-free petty amount loans, and other financial services to SMEs in Suzhou.
Suzhou Branch of Standard Chartered was established in Nov. 2006 as the second branch in Jiangsu following the setup of Nanjing Branch. Presently, Standard Chartered has set up 11 branches (including the one under preparation in Qingdao), 6 sub-branches, and 3 representative offices in 14 Chinese cities, and personal banking services are being offered in 12 of them.
