Suzhou Microsoft Allied Lab Begins Function
Dec. 16, 2005 saw the commencement of Suzhou Microsoft Allied Laboratory, a major project in "Microsoft Potential Development Plan" of National Development and Reform Commission.
Bo Shang, General Manager of Great China Region Cooperation and Development Dept. of Microsoft (China) Co., Ltd., said, "It is our sincere hope that the cooperation between the two sides will promote the continuous growth of informatization in Suzhou."
In the cooperation, Microfost is committed to provision of the latest technologies and products, technological support and latest software products for the lab, and training resources, while the SIP side will provide the premises for the allied experimentation, technical platform of public service, and the technology and service team from the software testing center. The allied lab, jointly established by Microsoft and SIP, will be devoted to deploying Microsoft technologies, software development cycles, and the solutions in the software industry. The lab will play a vital role in assisting enterprises to gain a firm grasp of the latest technologies and successful practice, and to experience the development procedure and management modes. The two sides will organize periodical trainings and on-spot development courses. Besides, the two sides will be actively involved in cooperation in marketing and public service of technological platform, technical support, etc.
At present, the two aides have started trainings and seminars on latest Microsoft technologies, high-level exchanges, and preparations for Microsoft club.
