Located in Suzhou, a city known as "the paradise on earth", Suzhou Industrial Park is an important economic cooperation project between Chinese and Singapore government. It's also a traffic hub, accessible from Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, Suzhou-Shanghai Expressway, Suzhou-Jiaxing-Hangzhou Expressway, as well as Shanghai-Nanjing Railway, Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway, and Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway.

SIP covers a total jurisdiction area of 288 sq km, among which 80 sq km area belongs to China-Singapore Cooperative Zone.
