Yiyuan Garden, less famous than other classic gardens in Suzhou, is located at the intersection of Renmin Road and Ganjiang Road.

It was built during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1875-1908) as the private garden of an official of that time. It integrates the characteristics of various Suzhou-style gardens.

There are beautiful views in the garden in all seasons. Regarding the architecture, the Qingyin Pavilion is a representative. Water flows out of the stone dragon mouth and falls in the pool, looking like a curtain covering the cave behind it.
