SIP’s Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR) and Weiting Sub-district jointly organized an event on Nov 9 to mark the Chinese National Fire Prevention Day on the day and kick off the Fire Prevention Week in YLPTR.

 

In the event, several firemen from SIP Fire Brigade demonstrated firefighting skills to the participating residents and tourists, and staff from a local gas company offered them tips on safe use of natural gas. Besides, there were interactive games to help the participants consolidate their knowledge on fire prevention. 

 

It is reported that other events during the Fire Prevention Week will include a firemen skill competition at Xihuwan Park on Nov 16, a fire drill at HB World later this month, and a series of related awareness campaigns.
