Weiting Sub-district bagged three awards in the 2019 (6th) “EGBANK Cup” SIP Open-air Fitness Dancing Competition final held at SIP Central Park Square on Oct 26.

The sub-district reportedly had five teams entering the final. Two dances won the first prize in the artistic dancing contest and the second prize in the fitness dancing contest, and the sub-district authorities received the “Outstanding Organization Award”.

 

The achievement should be attributed to the sub-district’s consistent efforts to encourage local residents to develop interests and showcase their talents in art. It is learnt that all of the five finalists are winners in the latest session of a fitness skill competition that is held in the sub-district each year since 2007.
