SIP’s Loufeng Sub-district organized a free clinic event at Donggang Xincun Residential Quarter on Oct 25 in a move to give the local residents a helping hand in health maintenance. 

 

In the event, medics from SIP Xinghai Hospital, Loufeng Community Health Service Center and several other local medical institutions provided free blood pressure testing and consultancy on health to over 150 residents, and distributed handouts bearing health tips to them.

 

Apart from that, to mark the World Stroke Day which is observed annually on Oct 29 to raise awareness of prevention and treatment of stroke, Guo Xianghong, director of Neurology Department at SIP Xinghai Hospital, offered the residents free checkups and gave them a detailed account of symptoms of stroke and related preventive measures and therapies.
