The 9th Jiangsu Book Fair kicked off at Suzhou International Expo Centre, SIP on June 27 and will last till June 30. Over 100,000 books from more than 500 publishers and distributors are on display at 14 pavilions with a total exhibition area of 17,000 square meters.

 

The annual book fair sponsored by the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government serves as a comprehensive platform for communication between readers and authors as well as for dialogues and exchanges between peers. 

Similar to the previous sessions, this year’s event includes hundreds of activities such as book signings, book launches and authors’ meetings that are expected to drive a craze for reading across the province. Many renowned Chinese writers will show up.
