SIP hosted an event on May 7 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of May Fourth Movement, an intellectual revolution and sociopolitical reform movement that grew out of student participants in Beijing on May 4, 1919, and the 97th anniversary of the founding of Communist Youth League of China.

At the event, the SIP “5C” Youth Growth Program was launched to offer training to young talents engaged in biomedicine, nanotech and AI development and help them better meet local enterprises’ talent demands. It is disclosed that the first training session will last from May to July, consisting of lessons, field surveys, outward bound activities and job interviews tailored for 30 participants.

The event also included an award ceremony where a number of youths and organizations were commended for their excellent performance in work. Besides, SIP Communist Youth League Working Committee released a set of on-line courses for its members, and SIP Youths’ Volunteer Service Alliance was inaugurated.
