The exhibits from 11 SIP-based ACG (Animation, Comics and Games) companies soon became an eye-catcher after the 2019 (8th) China (Suzhou) Cultural and Creative Design Expo (CCDE) kicked off at SIP’s Suzhou International Expo Centre on Apr 19.

Among the exhibits are models and derivatives of a number of popular ACG characters.

For example, there are creative artworks and car decorations derived from Little Monk Yichan, an award-winning Chinese animated series that has over 60 million fans on line, and also AR devices for visitors to interact with the little monk.

Suzhou Hua’ni Aimeng Network Technology Company is offering on-site services at the expo to draw cartoon portraits for visitors using their WeChat program. According to Qi Bin, the company’s CEO, they have over 10,000 designers and painters that can customize a cartoon portrait or an animated work for a customer within 30 minutes.

SIP, the home to more than 100 ACG companies which generate a total output value of over RMB 7.5 billion each year, hopes the exhibits can help the visitors know better about local ACG businesses and bring them new business opportunities.
