The SZJLIHM Organizing Committee announced on Dec 12 to launch the on-line application for the 2019 (10th) Suzhou Jinji Lake International Half Marathon (2019 SZJLIHM), which is scheduled to kick off on March 10, 2019. The marathon enthusiasts can apply for participation through either the event's official website (www.suzhou-marathon.com) or the organizer's website (www.huisports.com).

SZJLIHM, dubbed a "Gold Label Road Race" by Chinese Athletic Association, is held annually in Suzhou since 2010. Following the tradition, the 2019 SZJLIHM will consist of half marathon (21.0975 km), short marathon (around 14 km), mini marathon (around 4.5 km) and parent-child marathon (around 2.5 km), respectively accepting 13,000, 5,000, 7,000 and 5,000 participants at most.

It is disclosed that number bibs specially designed to mark SZJLIHM's 10th anniversary will be offered to people who have participated in six of SZJLIHM sessions. Besides, six Suzhou citizens, three males and three females who finish the half marathon in the latest session, will have chances to receive prizes worth up to RMB 2,000 according to their competition results.
