Suzhou citizens will have the luck to enjoy a wonderful concert given by renowned Chinese pianist Kong Xiangdong at Yinmiao Building, SIP's Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR) on Nov 10.

Born in 1968 in Shanghai, Kong first came to public attention as the youngest prize-winner at both the 1996 International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow and the 1987 Paloma O'Shea Santander International Piano Competition in Spain. He is also the first Chinese musician to give a solo piano concert at Musikverein, Vienna's most famous center for classical music, and a co-composer of Forever Friends, the theme song of 2008 Beijing Olympics.

It is reported that Kong will perform a list of classic and popular piano works and interact with audiences at the event. Besides, a youngsters' performance will precede the concert.
