The Faber Piano Adventure: Music from China, a book compiled by People's Music Publishing House (PMPH) in collaboration with American pianists and psychologists Nancy and Randall Faber, a couple who developed the globally acclaimed Piano Adventures method for music teaching, was released at CPG Bookstore, SIP on Oct 24.

The book includes a list of piano works created by Chinese composers for children, all being interesting and easy to play. Some of the works depict historical and daily life stories, while others are folk songs with different regional characteristics. PMPH deputy editor-in-chief Zhao Yishan said they hope the collection will enable more people in the world to gain a better understanding of Chinese music and culture.

Mr. Randall Faber spoke at the event, saying it is a great honor for him to have the chance to introduce these excellent Chinese music works to people across the world. He hopes the book can help entice more children into piano study. He also autographed copies of the book on site.
