SIP Hudong Community Working Committee hosted a parent-child carnival themed "I'm in Action for a Beautiful Sub-district" at a local commercial plaza on Oct 20, in a move to enhance local residents' awareness and knowledge of environmental protection. More than 200 families participated.

The event started with a list of performances like songs, dances and interesting short dramas calling on people to protect environment.

After that, the parents and their children participated in a series of fun games and experience activities where they gained a better understanding of environmental pollutions and countermeasures, drew pictures to show their expectations for a good living environment and tried eco-friendly practices such as garbage classification and air purification. The winners in the fun games also received gift packages.

Moreover, there was a flea market on site for the residents to exchange their idle articles.

A group of local volunteers and enterprise staff served in the event to do their bit in disseminating environmental protection concepts.
