U-Theatre of Taiwan, a Taiwanese art troupe renowned for their unique performing style featuring integration of body training methods, oriental martial arts and drum skills, performed Sound of the Ocean at Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre, SIP on Oct 19 and 20, in their third visit to Suzhou for the 2018 Suzhou Jinji Lake Art Festival.

According to Ruo-Yu Liu, artistic director of the troupe, Sound of the Ocean, which depicts a story about water and life, is their first work after the troupe's founding in 1988. Liu said they added multimedia presentations to the performance with the hope of enhancing the visual effects and inspiring the audiences to think deeply about mankind and environment.

It is learnt that the troupe just finished their annual self-cultivation training by the side of Jinji Lake on Oct 17, when many local citizens participated and tried their exercises.
