SIP saw an art show on Jingcheng Square on Oct 16, when over 300 elderlies gave 10 performances of singing, dancing, musical instrument playing, fashion show, paper-cutting and Peking opera to celebrate the Double Ninth Festival, or Chongyang Festival, a celebration for the elderly, which, reckoned on the ninth day of the ninth month on the Chinese lunar calendar, will fall on Oct 17 this year.

The event demonstrated the outcomes of SIP's consistent efforts to help local elderlies enjoy a happy life in their twilight years, such as continuously improving local elderly care facilities and services and carrying out various cultural and art programs to enrich their daily life.
