PGA Tour Series-China is a China-based men's professional golf tour as one of the annual series of tournaments organized by PGA Tour, a non-profit organization headquartered in the United States. The tour started in the country in 2014, and after a hiatus in 2017, resumed this year. This year's tour started in March and has seen eight champions emerged in the previous nine legs.

The course at Jinji Lake Golf Club features ingenious combination of links, wetlands and forest which the event's executive director Greg Carlson believed will possibly present new challenges for the contestants.

Moreover, a news briefing on Aug 29 said the event will, for the first time, include a youngsters' golf challenge which has received nearly 40 applications from local youngsters.
