The 10th "Dongtingshan Cup" SIP Primary and Middle School Students' Sunshine Sports Meet wrapped up at SIP Kuatang Experimental Primary School on Aug 22 following the conclusion of the junior middle school boys' basketball and girls' volleyball finals.

The sports meet, themed "Passionate Competition and Happy Life", consisted of swimming, Chinese chess, I-go, volleyball, basketball and aeromodeling contests that are expected to help the youngsters seek an all-around physical and mental development. More than 4,000 students from 36 primary and middle schools in SIP competed in the contests.

A closing ceremony was held on the same day, gathering over 800 SIP officials, school principals and student representatives. The winners in each contest received medals and trophies.
