SIP's Jinghui Community hosted an event on environmental protection on May 14 to mark the International Day of Families, which is annually observed on May 15 to promote awareness of issues relating to families. A total of 20 families participated and made wish bottles with waste materials.

In the event, the volunteers demonstrated skills of decorating used bottles into beautiful wish bottles using painting tools and materials like colored threads, used packaging tapes and buttons, and the families practiced the skills incorporating their own designs, which showcased their excellent creativity. The families also wrote down their wishes on pieces of paper and sealed them in their bottles to keep them till next year.

"It was very interesting and encouraged us to live an environment-friendly life," the families said.
