Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones, a fun-filled Canadian shadow-puppet comedy show, is expected to be staged at Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre from June 1 to 4.

Jeff Achtem, the performer honored as "a shadow magician", is well-known for being able to transform household junk into surreal and vivid shadow puppets like flying chickens and sneaky ninjas by using his hands, simply with the help of a table, a lamp and a screen.

The show has won awards at the Edinburgh International Festival and the Adelaide Festival of Art. So far, the show has toured more than 20 countries and regions, such as Germany, France, the UK, Spain and Japan.
