As is the Chinese tradition to help the poor with generous donation, SIP Xietang Chamber of Commerce held a New Year charity sports meet in Jiangbin Park recently. And it was also an event to vote for the Beautiful Xietang photography contest.

The event promoted communication among companies, communities, schools and government. Some of the long forgotten sport activities once again aroused people’s enthusiasm. It also awakened people’s spirit of charity and social obligation while providing happiness and joy for people.

Individuals and companies made a generous donation of 90,000 yuan to show their love and kindness. The money will be used to help poverty stricken families and students in Xietang sub-district.
