The prize of “2016 Home Story on Micro-shooting of SIP” Photography Competition was announced recently. The event was organized by SIP Cultural and Sports Festival Organization Committee, undertaken by SIP Cultural Center and co-organized by the public account SIP Press Release.

The event for the first time took the form of both pictures and texts and focused on pictures reflecting the beautiful land and the living environment of SIP. Since its launch 3 months ago, the co-organizing parties wechat public account “Su Yuan Liu Ji” and Suzhou Yaya Image Club received over 500 contributions and the number of visits on cell phone end of the website reached nearly 180,000 person-times.

Zong Yuan stood out from the large amount of competitors with his works “Reading Life” which was created with Eslite Spectrum Suzhou as background and awarded the first prize. The author thinks that the settlement of Eslite Spectrum Suzhou was actually a meeting point and satisfied his desire to seek the humanistic sense in this modern city. As the caption says, “In building our homeland, besides the home, we should not forget the cultivation of the internal homeland, the heart.”

The organizer of the event said compared with landscape photography, the shooting of humanistic-themed pictures is more difficult. In order to encourage the participation of more people and a more active interaction, participants were encouraged to take photos and upload at any time, which received wide acceptance and heightened local residents and visitors' interest.
