Over 200 EMBA students from the business schools of Fudan University, Xiamen University, East China University of Science and Technology, and National University of Singapore attended a charity running tournament on November 15 at Yangchenghu Peninsula Tourist Resort in Suzhou Industrial Park.

The running started at 1:30 p.m. along the route of 21-kilometer biking lane around the lake. This is the fourth stop of the tournament launched specially for the country's business elites, the rest three stops being Xiangshan in Beijing, Chenshan in Shanghai, and Longquan Lake in Chengdu.

The running was organized by Yangchenghu Peninsula Tourist Resort and Gobivillage, a running group of EMBA students. By paying for the miles they run and holding charity sales, the runners raised money for those suffering mental disorders such as cerebral palsy and autism.

"This is a journey of health and a journey of charity," said Li Yuxin from Business School of Fudan University, who is also the founder of Gobivillage. "We started to plan the running of our fourth stop at the end of June and finally decided on Yangchenghu Peninsula because the resort lives up to its name and the environment here is very beautiful."
