SIP authorities hosted a briefing at Modern Building lately, making arrangement for a media tour where journalists from about 30 national and local media organizations including People’s Daily, China News Service, Xinhua Daily and Suzhou Daily will tour around SIP and make reports on it over a period of two months. 

 

At the event, an official from the Publicity Department of CPC SIP Working Committee gave a specific introduction to the media tour, while several other departments and organizations including SIP Administrative Examination and Approval Office, SIP Land Resources and Environmental Protection Bureau, SIP Tax Bureau and YRD Overseas Investment Promotion Center, introduced a list of projects designed to propel high-quality economic, social, cultural and environmental development in SIP. 

It is reported that, during their tour, the journalists will visit some enterprises and residents in SIP to look for the stories they want to cover.
