Jiangsu Shencai Tech Co Ltd, an SIP-based company dedicated to Internet of Things development and big data research for environmental protection purposes, was designated on Jan 21 by State Key Laboratory of Pollution Control and Resource Reuse (SKL-PCRR) as its Suzhou base for development and commercialization of technologies for harmless disposal of solid waste.

SKL-PCRR, based at Nanjing University in East China's Jiangsu province and Tongji University in Shanghai, is one of China's biggest R&D organization specializing in pollution control and rational use of resources. Jiangsu Shencai Tech Co Ltd, founded in 2006, boasts a 15,000-square-meter environmental big data center, over 100 proprietary intellectual property rights and rich experience in partaking in national and local environmental research programs. Its pollution control systems and solutions are now in use in 11 provinces. The two parties expect to give full play to their resources to provide better solid waste disposal solutions for enterprises and governments.

At the base's inauguration ceremony, the company donated RMB 1 million to Nanjing University Education Development Foundation for environmental science study and related talent cultivation.
